Our client is looking for a member to develop both fixed bottom and floating offshore wind power project.You will be expected to contribute to the development of offshore wind power projects and the stakeholder engagement.

Main duties/responsibilities:

Develop relationships with fishermen and its association, local stakeholder, local and national governments.
Define potential project sea zone, and create business plan and community contribution plan through offshore wind, based on communication with fishermen, local stakeholder, and local and national governments.
Plan onshore and offshore surveys such as wind survey, geotechnical/geophysical survey, fishery and environment impact assessment.
Coordinate with fishermen, local stakeholders, local and national governments and obtain their agreement for the potential project.
Coordinate with fishermen, local stakeholder, local and national governments for the approval of designating the project zone to the official promotion zone under the new Offshore Promotion Act in Japan.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
Strong interest in renewable energy, especially offshore wind power, or fishery and community development through offshore wind power projects
Experience in sales and/or client engagement
Strong communication skill and flexibility to collaborate under a multicultural and cross-industrial environment.
Language: Native Japanese speaker or equal level.
Experience in renewable energy including wind power or fishery/marine industry
Fluency in English
